OTR/L

Meet Jenna Klos

Her work is rooted in a deep appreciation for child development, everyday caregiving, and the ways thoughtful support can shape both children and families during seasons of growth and transition.

Through her background in occupational therapy, Jenna has worked across a variety of settings, including outpatient pediatrics, in public schools, and home health.

This diverse clinical background informs her whole-person approach, with a strong focus on getting outside, movement, regulation, sensory processing, and meaningful participation in daily routines.

Over time, her work naturally expanded to include babywearing, recognizing it as a practical, relationship-centered tool that supports connection, development, and caregiver comfort in real life.

Jenna works with children of all ages and families, providing support through occupational therapy, parent education, and babywearing guidance grounded in everyday routines.

Grounded Roots OT was created with the intention of offering families a different kind of support - one that is individualized, holistic, and grounded in everyday experiences rather than one-size-fits-all solutions. Jenna believes meaningful care considers the whole picture: the child, the caregiver, the environment, and the realities of daily life.

What sets Jenna’s work apart

In addition to her professional roles, Jenna is also a mom and stepmom. These lived experiences continue to shape her approach, reinforcing the importance of compassionate, realistic guidance that supports families where they are.

Outside of work, you can find Jenna soaking up quality time with her family and friends, reading, spending time outdoors, going for walks and enjoying a good cup of hot coffee.

Rather than rigid programs or checklists, she emphasizes collaboration, curiosity, and practical strategies that fit within each family’s unique rhythms and environment. She believes development is shaped through relationships, movement, environment, and everyday experience, not just isolated skills or milestones.

Jenna is licensed to practice occupational therapy in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. She also offers parent education and babywearing support to families nationwide.

Her commitment to meeting families where they are.
